Je me définis comme mathématicien appliqué. De par ma formation, je tente toujours dans mes recherches d'asscocier des aspects de
- modélisation mathématique,
- physique,
- calcul scientifique.
Les résultats de mes collaborations avec des physiciens, médecins, acousticiens, océanographes sont présentés dans la rubrique "Research".
I define myself as an applied mathematician. I strive, in all my research projects, to associate aspects of
- mathematical modelling,
- physics,
- scientific computing.

Currently-held Positions and Responsibilities
- Professor (1st class) at the University of Picardy Jules Verne, Amiens, France. Research unit: LAMFA
- Associate Researcher at the Universté libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.) in the department of Physics and Mathematics, Environmental hydroacoustics lab.
- Responsable for Scientific Computing at the National Institute of Mathematics and Interactions INSMI-CNRS.
- Director of the HPC platform MeCS
- Activity leader of the research group GDR Ondes - thematic group #1
- Member of the French national steering committe for HPC mesocentres
- Member of the scientific commission "Data Assimilation" of the INSU-CNRS.
- Part-time scientific secretary of the French Academy Of Engineering
- Official reviewer for Mathematical Reviews of MathSciNet
